Chapter 3: Premonitions


“Can you smile for me before you leave? I always wanted to see it.” Kai told him as he put his hands down.
“???” Ryo was speechless again.
“Come on Ryo… smile…” Carmilla approached us then smiles while she seconds the favor of her younger brother.
“Seriously?” Ryo said. “I already told you it’s not the right time…” Ryo looked down.
Kai’s smile suddenly disappeared.
“But I’ll make an exception for this.” Ryo said as he looked at Kai, and Kai smiles back at him.
Carmilla sincerely smiles at him and nods.
As he looks at both Carmilla and Kai, then looked away.
“What’s wrong?” Kai asks while looking at Ryo.
“Come with me for a moment. Once I leave… I’ll promise to smile before we go.”
Kai stood up then smiles at Ryo then held his hand. “Let’s go!” Kai also held his sister’s hand. “Come on sis!”
Ryo and Carmilla looks at each other then Carmilla smiles.
“Come on Ryo.” She said as Kai pulled them.
Walking to the landing area, and moving within the crowd, the airship began to land softly on the grounds, and the pressure of the wind became stronger.
“The airship is here…” Ryo said, as he looked at the airship.
“Come on! Hurry!” Kai ran while holding their hands.
“Kai!! Wait!!” Carmilla said running while being pulled by Kai.
“Slow down!” Ryo said.
“I want to see Ryo-senpai’s smile as quickly as possible!” Kai said with enthusiasm while Ryo realizes something.
“What’s wrong Ryo?” Carmilla asked.
Ryo shook his head. “Nothing. Sorry.”

In the country of Saveia, preparing to leave, the High Heirs of Vanity Cross gather in the area, waiting for the Grand Airship, Zephyr, to bring them to Alcantara.
“Are we complete yet?” A woman with long, wavy coffee brown tainted hair with a big ribbon tied on a medium height on her head, with wavy hair extending to her waist, said as she crossed her arms. She appears to have a fitted shirt, which much resembles a vest which only extends to her lower chest, exposing her abdomen. Her vest is feathered, but only in the openings of her clothing, and she wears a long skinny pair of blue denim, with a pair of brown boots with fur at each opening extending to the half of her lower leg.
“Cortan and Highwind aren’t present yet Lavinnia.” A guy who has slicked spiky brown hair replied her. He appears with a sleeveless jacket, with a dark sleeveless top under it. His collar is vertical and extends to his lower jaw. He wears denim, which extends to his ankle. He wears combat boots, which suits his style of clothing in taking tasks.
“Well… at least you, Van, Mei and I are here… oh yeah… Vien. Takumi, I’m sure you haven’t seen him yet right?” Lavinnia asks the young man named Takumi, as he puts his hand on his waist.
“Well, I saw him earlier though… but I just hope the three of them hurry up.” He then scratches his head.
“I’m already here…” A voice of a man interrupted them, and all of them looked at the direction of the voice. “ I don’t know where Asha and Chris are right now.” Vien who has an eye-patch on the right side of his eye and a mask covering the upper left side of his face, with long dark shaggy hair, told Lavinnia. He wears a long dark coat, which extends to the back of his knee. He also wears loose jeans, and wears a pair of shoes with spurs equipped on the lower ankle.
“Vien… you took so long…” Takumi told the man named Vien.
“My, my… the sky heiress and the flame heir… I wonder if they are sharing moments at a time like this.” A guy with dark spiked black hair spoke out. He appears with a long sleeved, turtle-necked jacket with a zipper that halves his left from his right. A design of the ground and a tree is visible on his right part of the vest, along with his right side of his lower white pants, where there is only the visible color of white is seen in his shirt. He also wears the same shoes that Vien has, though, does not have any spurs equipped.
“Moments? What kind of moments are you thinking about… Van Zeos.” Chris said as he appears with Asha. Chris appeared to wear a long sleeveless coat, equipped with a furred hood, which rests at his back. The coat extends only at his waist. His clothes, and his slacks, are designed with flames, which much describes his main element. As for Asha, she still wore a sleeveless kimono, wherein the skirt only extends down the bottom of her waist, in the front, and the rest, extends to the back. She wears a short skirt, which is made from silk. Her arms are equipped with a sleeve, which is separated from her dress. The sleeve is from the bottom of her deltoid muscle and her wrist. The extensions of her sleeves are from the waist to her lower knee. She wears long boots, which extend to the top of her knee. The color of her clothing is blue. Both Chris and Asha have heterochronic eyes, where Asha’s eyes have blue is seen on the left, and green is seen at the right, and for Chris, he has red on the left, and orange on the right.
“Oh… the usual… moments under the moonlight? Haha” Van chuckles.
“Oh shut up. Come on… we have to ride quickly… sorry for the delay.” Chris apologized.
“It’s fine… what took you guys long anyway??” Takumi asked.
“Asha needed to get dressed for a moment… and I had to wait for her.” Chris said as he crossed his arms across his chest.
“I’m really sorry…” Asha bows her head down, asking for an apology.
“It’s fine. Let’s head inside now… we have to meet up with Valentina to aid us to the Queen in Alcantara. According to our headmaster, she has the key to stopping this war.” Lavinnia said as she went inside ahead.
“Let’s go Asha” A girl with curled up and balled braids, which appears like chignons, went near her and smiles. Her other strands of thin hair that extends from the balled braids, extends to her waist. She wears a traditional and sleeveless Chinese top, and is colored bright red. The Chinese top only extends to the bottom of her chest, and under it, is a dark blue fitted outfit, which covers her side and her back, and exposes her abdomen. She wears loose pair of dark blue pants, where part of her pelvis to the half of her hips isn’t covered. She wears a golden belt as reddish and a slightly transparent silk covers the middle part of her waist, extending down to her knees. And as for the back, nothing is seen, but the same silk that is recently described.
“Mai…” She raised he head and saw Mai Tsen.
“Come on… you don’t want to be left behind don’t you?? You too Chris… We’ll also meet up with Cassandra, Raphael and Francis.” Mai said as she walks towards the airship with Asha.
“Come on… let’s go.” Chris notices Vien, silent on the corner.
“Okay…” Vien said in an uncertain tone
“What’s the matter Vien??” Chris asks.
“I just suspect something bad is going to happen… Sorry if I suspect things this way.” Vien said placing his palm in his face.
“It’s fine Vien…  I don’t know why I exactly feel the same way.”  Chris looks at the airship. “let’s just pray that nothing would happen now subsequent to all the things that happened to majority of the brigades… come on… let’s go.” Chris moves on ahead.
“I just hope so Cortan… I just hope that he won’t prolong with his plan…” Vien said something unusual and then, goes to the airship.
The unusual vision that appeared in his mind…
Mei lying down unconscious and bloodstained…
Lavinnia falling down from overusing her abilities…
Zephyr exploding and crashing…
A vision of a lake…
The members of Silver Wing taking Asha in their airship…
And Asha… being stabbed from behind by a comrade.
“What good can those visions bring when all of them are results of misfortune…?” Vien said. “Why… is Silver Wing involved in this… and the person who stabbed Asha… could it be Takumi… or could it be Van…?” Vien thought to himself.
Thoughts from the illusionist’s mind regarding the vision, conflict causing confusion, and a great qualm they’ll all arrive to Alcantara alive.

Meanwhile at Silver Wing, as the three moves out of the crowd, Shawn approached Ryo.
“Hey!! Where were you?? We were all waiting for you before we’d enter the freaking ship?!?!?!?!?” Shawn said.
“I’m sorry but I had to attend to someone.” Ryo answers Shawn.
“Who? Who’s that person?! I wanna…”
“Me… you have a problem??” Carmilla said in a tone which looks like she was a bit angry while smiling, cutting off Shawn’s statement.
“Carmilla…………. OH… I’m sorry…” Shawn apologizes, shunning from Carmilla’s anger.
“It’s fine ^_^ Next time… please don’t be an exasperating, irritating, annoying, infuriating, galling, maddening and an irksome incommodious, bothersome, cramped, niggling, frustrating, vexing, troublesome, little, rude, impolite, uncouth, offensive, vulgar and crude runt okay?” Carmilla said smiling after saying so many unexpected, surprising, startling and sudden words, as Shawn was pierced, a bit hurt, upset and guilty by every word she said.
“hehe… that was truly astonishing…” Nyeve said laughing at Shawn’s sorry state.
“Seriously… that was really shocking for Carmilla to say…  I don’t know most of the words she said… honestly…” Sheila said placing her palm in her face and sweat dropping.
“Dictionary…” Nyeve whispers.
“What on earth?” Sheila said still in the same state.
“You don’t know what my sis can say when she’s angry!! That’s why she’s unexpected and can defeat someone with the use of words!” Kai said as he was astounded by what his sister did to Shawn.
“Oh really Kai.” Ryo said.
“I am not angry though!” Carmilla refuses.
“Carmilla was never violent at battle, but with words… she can be violent and can defeat someone when she’s angry” Chinaru said.
“sigh… well then… we have to go now…” Ryo said.
“Chinaru!” Carmilla puts her hands on top of Chinaru’s cheeks.
“Ciao guys… see you all tomorrow or the next day.” Nyeve said.
“Come on now… We’ll have to head to Hygnon as soon as possible” Miyuki said. “Alleyah and Ritcher are inside already. What happened to Shawn?” Miyuki notices Shawn sulking for no reason (For her... LOL)
Carmilla was about to hug Ryo but then a premonition came inside her mind… freezing her consciousness and then…
“Carmilla… Carmilla!!” Ryo noticed Carmilla trembling. “Hey… what’s wrong? Something the matter Carmilla???” Ryo held her arms tightly.
“Carmilla?” Sheila looks at Carmilla.
“Hey… Hey! You okay there?!” Nyeve went near and was concerned.
“Carmilla…” Miyuki saw something terrible in her eyes, the feeling of fear, dread, fright… that is currently scaring her. “Carmilla!”
Carmilla put her hands over her mouth, and then tears started to fall from her eyes, making her kneel down and shrieking as if she was being killed.
Shawn went near “Hey… if it was my fault sorry!!”
“It’s not your doing… Shawn…” Miyuki said as she called Shawn’s attention.
“Then… what is it??” Shawn looked at Miyuki.
“I… don’t know but…” She looked down. “In my opinion though… she’s seeing… something… ominous.”
“What’s wrong?! HEY!!!” Ryo looks into her eyes but then sees it blank.
“What’s happening with my sister?”
“What are…. What are you gonna do to me??” Carmilla was talking in a strange way, where the people around her cannot relate to what’s happening to her.
“Snap out of it!! Carmilla! I’m not gonna do anything to you!!” Ryo said as Carmilla aggressively held Ryo’s clothing instantly where she was like she was in grieve pain and feeling soreness.
Ryo hugs her to calm her down.
No one had any idea to what was happening, for minutes of Carmilla’s aggression, she finally stopped and calmed down.
“What the heck happened…?” Shawn said with confusion.
Sheila and Nyeve, was speechless for what happened, Chinaru, Ryo, Kai and Miyuki was confused.
“What was the meaning of that? What just happened?!” Sheila demanded to know.
“I don’t know okay?? She just acted like this and trembled for no reason, and mumbled strange phrases as if she was being abused for some particular reason.” Ryo said.
“Maybe it’s linked to her past…” Nyeve said.
“Or… probably… it’s a premonition…” Miyuki said.
“Premonition?!” Ryo was startled. “But what kind of premonition would she be seeing making her act this way?!” Ryo was a bit angry.
“Maybe she is going to be killed in the future… or perhaps… being continuously tortured until she became unconscious…” Miyuki explained.
“I’ll take care of her for now okay??” Chinaru went near Carmilla.
Carmilla wakes up, and groans…
“Carmilla!!” Ryo hugs her again.
“What happened… why am I on the ground??” Carmilla asks.
“You were aggressive a while ago and screaming and also saying some… things…” Nyeve said.
“What kind… of things?” Carmilla raised her eyebrow and then asked Nyeve.
“Like… what are you going to do to me… stop… please?? Those were the words you said… don’t you remember??” Nyeve said.
Carmilla remembered the vision.
“I said those? Oh really… don’t make… me laugh…” Carmilla said and then shook her head.
“He’s not… he’s serious Carmilla. That’s what you really said… were you dreaming of something? Ryo asked.
“Or… did you see something…” Miyuki continues.
“See…” Carmilla became still and then lies. “I don’t remember… I’m sorry. All I can… remember is… falling down, and waking up with all of you suddenly asking questions.” She put her hand on her forehead.
“Is that so… You have to consult the headmaster quickly now Carmilla.” Miyuki told her.
“Yeah… that would be the best.” Sheila also assumed.
“Thank you guys.”
“Sis… you scared me…” Kai cries and hugged his sister while she was sitting on the ground.
“I’m sorry if I did…” Carmilla hugged her brother back.
“Come on… Ryo… we’re going ahead now… Nyeve will wait for you here.” Miyuki said. “Come on now Sheila, Shawn...” Miyuki called Sheila and Shawn. “Alleyah and Ritcher are waiting for us.”
“We’ll be seeing you in the ship now” Sheila said.
“Yeah! See yah two! Haha!” Shawn said as he ran.
“What a bother…” Nyeve placed his fingers on his forehead horizontally.

“5 minutes till Azure will leave!!” a broadcaster spoke out.

“5 minutes huh??” Ryo said.
“Yeah…” Carmilla nods.
Ryo crouched down.
“So… aren’t you going?” Carmilla looked straight into his eyes. Later on, they looked at each other eye to eye.
“So, you’re gonna leave? When will you guys be… back?” Carmilla asked.
“Probably… by tomorrow or the next day. But we’ll come back.” Ryo told her and held her face.
“Hmm?” Carmilla was startled.
“You have to take care of yourself from now on okay? I don’t want this to happen again.” Ryo soflty placed his lips on Carmilla’s forehead and pulled it away after 10 seconds.
Carmilla blushes. “What… what was that for???” Carmilla asked.
“It’s a gesture of my concern for you.” He smiled at Carmilla for a moment.
“D…did you just… smile?!”
“Smile? It was in your imagination.” He suddenly made his smile disappear.
“Don’t play with my mind… I saw it.” Carmilla said as she sincerely smiled.
“I’m not.” Ryo denies.
Carmilla held his chin and made him face her.
“What… are you exactly doing?” Ryo asked.
“Tell me you smiled… I saw it… and don’t tell me you forgot what you promised my brother.” She grinned at Ryo.
“Okay… okay… I smiled… you happy now?” Ryo looked away.
“Why? Tell me why you smiled…” Carmilla asked while smiling. “And I think you have to smile for Kai too? Before leaving?” She grinned.
Ryo paused for a moment.
“I don’t want to tell the reason.” Ryo looked away.
“You are so annoying at times.” Carmilla pushes him away from her and stands up as Ryo prevented his fall down to the ground by eventually standing on one hand while sitting down.
“You can’t blame me if I am annoying.” Ryo replies while looking at Carmilla’s feet.
“Come on… stand up… You’re wasting time.” Carmilla held out her hand then smiles warmly at Ryo.
“Sigh…” Ryo grabs her hand then stands up.
“So… guess I’ll be seeing you after today or… maybe the day after tomorrow? Right?” Carmilla said still holding his hand.
“Probably.” He said while looking at her feet then constantly looking at her eyes.
“Ryo-senpai!! Your promise!!” Kai said as he pulled on Ryo’s shirt.
“Promise? Fine…” He breathed in then out. He looks at Carmilla then to Kai, smiling.
“You look better when you smile!!” Kai enthusiastically said.
“Really?” Ryo asked Kai while petting his head.
“Yes!” Kai laughs and smiles.
“Seriously… haha…” Carmilla giggles.
“Tell me why you’re laughing?”
“You look like a very different person when you smile…” Carmilla put her hands at her back.
“Really? I don’t think so.” Ryo muttered.
Carmilla laughs again. “You’re funny at times…”
Ryo nods. “I guess…”
Carmilla went near Ryo. “Take care…” Carmilla hugged him.
“I… will…” He hugged her back.
Carmilla went nearer and then whispered in his ears…
“I hope you would do your best ^_^” Carmilla showed joy and then put her thumbs up for Ryo.
Ryo nods. “I will.”
Then, Carmilla suddenly slightly placed her lips on top of Ryo’s cheek. Ryo was kind of startled, but, let it off for a while.
“I’d be hoping all of you’d be safe.” She closed her eyes, lifted her hands and made hand gestures. “May the skies and he above, bless all of you in your trip…” She clasped her hands together.
“Are you two done now? Come on.” Nyeve was impatient.
“I’m coming!” Ryo hurried up.
“Thank you Ryo-senpai” He smiles and then hugs him tighter. “Take care”
“I will… thanks… you two too okay?? See you Kai, Chinaru…. Carmilla.” He looked back, and waved.
“Bye.” Carmilla waved at Ryo, as she was smiling in a way there is doubt and fear. “Nyeve! TAKE CARE OF RYO OKAY?!”
“of co--- WAIT… WHAT?!”
Carmilla laughs from afar. “NOTHING!!”
“Heh…” Nyeve went inside the ship.
“Bye… Carmilla. I guess he did not hear what you said.” Ryo smiled again.
“Take care.” Carmilla warmly smiled at Ryo.
Ryo ran quickly then looked back at Carmilla and Kai, waving once, looked back then going inside the Airship Azure.

“You really conveyed it did you huh?” Chinaru went beside Carmilla, and Kai went in front, still waving.
“Conveyed? Oh… well… you were watching us from afar didn’t you? And besides,  I always had feelings for him, ever since I saw him lonely and sitting down here after the day we talked to each other for the first time.” Carmilla said while looking at Azure starting to take flight in the sky.
“Why do you think it’s the right time to do it?” Chinaru asks her.
“Sooner or later… I’ll die already… My time is already near…” She looked down.
“What are you saying?? You can’t be serious?!” Chinaru suddenly put her hands down as she heard what Carmilla suddenly said..
“You saw me… crying and kicking out, aggressively… right?” Carmilla looked at her.
“So… you were lying…” Chinaru placed her forefinger under her lower lip. “Why did you lie? Carmilla!”
“I don’t want to worry them…” Carmilla turned away.
“What did you see??” Chinaru held her shoulders.
Carmilla looks down then looks at Chinaru.

Inside Azure, they gathered at the large pilot room and then conversed about the mission.
“So… today… we will discuss about our mission where we will head to Hygnon in about…. 5 hours…” Ritcher said while roaming in front.
“So…” Ryo froze and then saw something in his mind, which he never expected to see…

A woman with blue luminescent eyes, crying for help, reaching her hand out…
A Young Man, about their age, stabbing her in the heart and then she falls unconscious and her eyes, left dead and blank, and not another breath came out of her.
Another one, which was separate, a girl who fell in Lacrimosa, the lake of Destiny, and a crashing airship…
A festive city which was not known to him flashes in his mind.
A girl’s voice, calling his name…

Ryo kneeled down with his hands on the floor, shocking his team.
“What’s wrong now huh??” Nyeve asked with an irritating voice…
“Hey Ryo…” Miyuki kneeled down and then pats his back. “Are you okay?”
“I saw someone died… I saw her died… being killed…” He breathes hard and then sweats…
“Die? Who’s that woman anyway??” Shawn said. “Maybe what you saw was only a dream.”
“IT’S NOT A DREAM!!!!” Ryo got angry. “I’M AFRAID THE GIRL IS CARMILLA! Because of her luminescent eyes, I can tell it’s her!”
“It’s not only Carmilla who has… Asha Highwind, the Grand Sky Heiress, also has… but it’s only in her left eye. She is Heterochronic” Miyuki said.
“So… what did I see then?!” Ryo stood up angrily.
“Perhaps… it’s a premonition…” Alleyah said. “What did you see in it?”
“I already told you… someone was being killed and I am not sure who it is right now!”
“Anything else?”
Ryo thinks…
“An airship… falling from the sky, no… it was… crashing… A girl falling into the lake… of Lacrimosa… A festive city I never went to… nor a city I knew… and then… Someone called me before Nyeve did… and I’m sure… I can’t define her voice since I never heard it before.”
“An airship? To whom would that belong to??”
“I don’t know… I don’t know if it’s ours… or another… but it’s appearance… it has two large propeller fans inside two large separate rings… on each side of the rear, placed in a vertical position… and that’s the only thing I saw.”
“Either it belongs to Vanity Cross or to Crimson Fox…  Viola has not taken off yet since Cobalt would go ahead first… and Viola has a similar design to what you have mentioned.” Alleyah said.
“Scarlet, Corona, Dandelion, Verde, Azure, Cobalt, Viola… these are the grand airships of our Brigade. And it is only Viola, which has a ring in a vertical position, with its propellers in each of it. So… to WHOM does it belong to…? I can only think of three which has this design… Viola would take off tomorrow…”
“What was the scene… of all those visions you saw?”
“The first one, I can’t really determine if it’s morning or night… the second along with the rest, I think… the sky was orange, tainted with pink and scarlet… except for the last one, which was clearly night time.”
“We have to be careful…” Miyuki crossed her arms across her chest.
“Let’s… head to Lacrimosa first before we head to Hygnon… is that okay??? I want to make sure if what I’m seeing in my mind is real.” Ryo said as he stood up.
Alleyah and the others stood still, and then Ritcher headed to the pilot.
“Ritcher… what are you going to do?!” Alleyah asks.
“Rei… head to the Lake of Destiny… Now.” Ritcher called the attention of the pilot who appeared to have white hair, and purple eyes, braided, which extends to her back.
“Now????” She asks.
“Yes… now.”
“This is absurd!” Alleyah said. “We have to think about the mission first!”
“The mission CAN wait okay??” Ritcher said as he fiercely looked at Alleyah.
“Ridiculous…” Alleyah argued.
“If that’s what you think… then fine, go ahead… there are times when there are things we have to verify.” Ritcher said as he passes by Alleyah. “Okay… all of you… let’s make a choice here!!”
“Choice?” Rei’s attention got caught in that moment.
“Rei, let’s listen to what they want okay?” Ritcher turned his head around to Rei.
“Oh… okay then…” She slows down the airship.
“This is totally ridiculous, outrageous and… argh!” Alleyah was aggravated and upset about Ritcher’s decision.
“I want to ask you all, Do you want to head to Hygnon immediately or do you want to go to Lacrimosa… and confirm if what Ryo was seeing in his mind was real… Raise your left hand for Hygnon, and then, right for Lacrimosa.”
Everyone thought of the decision and then…
“Lacrimosa.” Nyeve raised his right hand.
“okay… one for Lacrimosa…”
Three others raised their hand, while Alleyah only raised for Hygnon.
“Majority wins… to Lacrimosa then…” He smiled and crossed his arms. “REI! TO LACRIMOSA FIRST!”
Rei sped up her ship. “Aye! Mourave!” (Yes! Sir!)
“Thanks. Though… you made Alleyah mad…” Ryo said as he looks outside the large window.
“I’m sure this is something more serious than the mission… since I am sure it can wait.”
“Fine then…  how many hours to get there?” Ryo asked.
“Rei!!! How many more hours till we’re there?!” Ritcher shouts.
“It’s 12:15 right now… so… We’ll probably get there by seven hours!” She shouted as she was focusing her eyes on the clouds and the map.
Alleyah puts her palm in her face… “We’d take really long… heh… annoying…”
“This is gonna take us two days…” Miyuki said.
“Is there any way you can speed up Rei?” Alleyah asked as she shouted loud.
“Yup!! I’ll try speeding this baby up! Don’t worry! I’ll try getting there at… 4-5 hours!” Rei smiled. “For the mean time, rest and I’ll signal the whole ship when we are there!”
“That would help… thanks…” Alleyah turned her back, and went to the domicile of the airship.
“No prob!!! Viarzen ophiavez Azure! Mayfa Arfest Sephza~” (Pump engines of Azure! Let’s speed up~) Rei said in a cheerful tone, the 3rd hierarchy of the language of her country.
A slight turbulence was felt in the process of speeding up.
“Turbulence?” Ryo mumbles.
“It’s normal!! Sorry!!” Rei said.
“Wow… Alleyah’s so frustrated Ryo…” Nyeve told him as he leaned on the window, overseeing the clouds.
“Not my fault… blame Ritcher…” Ryo jokes around.
“First time, I saw her like this… heh…” Nyeve scoffed.
“Well… now you saw her that way… I bet you’re happy with her face??” Ryo looked at Nyeve.
“So… can I piss her off?” Nyeve put his hands on his waist. “I was in the mood but… haha… not now.”
“Do what you want…” Ryo said as he crosses his arms. “As long as I’m not involved.”
“When did Nyeve start making fun of Alleyah?” Shawn asked.
“She always starts it.” Nyeve suddenly looked at Shawn.
“pfft…” Shawn laughed.
“Laughing are you?” Nyeve went a bit furious.
“You think not? You’re pretty amusing when you want to do something silly… no... I think you’d look ridiculous…” Shawn scoffed at Nyeve’s attitude.
“HAHA…” Nyeve walks out.
“Eh? Pissed off?” Shawn laughed at Nyeve.
“If you think I’m pissed… don’t get your hopes up that you’ll get me pissed off.” Nyeve goes back then smirks.
“heh…” Ryo moves away and goes to the parlor instead.
“Hey… Ryo…” Sheila approaches him.
“Oh… Sheila…”
“What you said a while ago… did you really meant those??” She crossed her arms across her chest.
“Those weren’t just dreams… and I have to make sure… what I’m seeing in my head is really precise… We’re heading to Lacrimosa… and that’s where most of the events that I saw in my mind took place…”
“Is that so… what do you think will happen when we get there?”
“I can’t tell… there was a scene of all of us, escaping, with a certain girl… I don’t know… it includes ther people too.”
“Let’s just hope things would turn out good.”
“We’re taking the risk here… Ryo Skylark…” Alleyah finally approaches them.
“Where did you come from?” Shawn asked.
“From the domicile… stupid.” She glared at Shawn and back at Ryo. “If you really want to make sure of it… I’m not stopping you anymore… but if the Headmaster scolds us… it’s your fault.”
“Yeah yeah… I’ll explain it all clearly. She’ll understand.” He crossed his arms across his chest.
“Good then.” She grins. “I’ll be at the top… just outside. If someone’s looking for me, tell them I’m just there. Okay?” She turns her back and walks away.
“Yeah sure…” Ryo nodded.
“Good then. I’ll be going now.” She heads to the elevator and heads up.
“Sigh…” As Alleyah left, a puff of air came out of Ryo’s mouth, feeling nervous. He bowed his head down.
“what are you sighing for…?” Sheila approached him and looked at him as she bent to see his face.
“nothing…” He shook his head.
“hmmm…” Sheila stood straight.
“I wonder what I’ll find there… what we’ll find there…” He looked at the horizon of clouds, which the airship is passing through.
“Don’t worry… all of us are here together!” Sheila held his hand and smiled. “And, we’ll protect each other!”
“ yeah…”
The two looked afar, as Sheila smiles at Ryo while he constantly thinks about the circumstances of heading to Lacrimosa instead of heading to Hygnon to look for the Jewel and surrender it to the headmaster herself. A risk, or a necessity to find out, what would lie in the future that lies beyond the decision the majority made?
